Anne Labrador, Director of Administration
Anne Labrador has over 30 years' experience working for high-level executives in both the private and public sectors. Throughout her career she has honed her ability to interact with clients, colleagues, vendors, board members, and stockholders with tact, humor, and professionalism. Her work has also called upon her organizational abilities, her love of learning, and her enjoyment of people.
Anne spent many years providing key administrative support to the founder and chairman of a publicly held consumer goods distributor; she held similar positions supporting partners in a private equity investment firm and senior managing directors in a commercial real estate company. Anne used these opportunities to learn about the intricacies of business--what works and what doesn't. She also had the opportunity to work closely with other administrative staff, where she learned about the importance of teamwork and shared learning.
While serving as the office manager of a congressional district office and handling the member's financial reporting to the Federal Election Committee, she acquired a foundation in finance that has served Proteus very well. She also learned the skills necessary for project research.
During Anne's tenure with Proteus, she has seen the company triple in size and has enthusiastically taken on the additional responsibilities associated with a growing company. She has immersed herself in the adventure of learning new skills and meeting new people. Anne serves as Proteus director of administration, managing the New York office, overseeing financial and human resource areas, and serving as executive assistant to Erika Andersen.
