Dan Camins, Office Manager

Dan is Office Manager for Proteus’ NYC office, and Executive Assistant to Erika Andersen, Proteus founder. Clients appreciate Dan’s ability to maintain his easy-going demeanor and sense of humor while quickly and efficiently juggling a wide variety of projects and demands.
Dan joined Proteus after 10 years working at Jerry Bruckheimer Films, for a number of years as Mr. Bruckheimer’s personal assistant. Supporting Mr. Bruckheimer in all his many endeavors provided Dan with a solid professional grounding – teaching him how to thrive under pressure while creating great relationships and balancing the needs of his boss, the organization and outside partners.
An avid hockey player since the age of 7, Dan was also a part of the Jerry Bruckheimer Bad Boys celebrity hockey tournament in Las Vegas. From 2006-2010, Dan was solely responsible for organizing the tournament; managing the event staff, player details and dozens of logistics.
He also helped launch Jerry Bruckheimer Games, working closely with executives at MTV and major videogame companies. Dan then transitioned to Bruckheimer Films post-production department, where he teamed with vendors, artists, editors and studio executives to finish each film. In this capacity, he also managed the budgeting procedures and worked with the studio on purchase orders and payroll.
With this high-profile, high-demand background, Dan brings to Proteus broad capabilities in managing projects and relationships, and keeping complex operations running smoothly while evolving new systems and ways of doing business.
Dan graduated from the University of Denver with a BA in Communications, and had the honor of being elected President of his fraternity in his sophomore year. He lives with his wife Jen in Manhattan.
