Jeff Mitchell, President

Jeff Mitchell, president of Proteus International since 2000, helps executives and leadership teams envision the organization they hope to create, clarify the essentials of their most pressing challenges and create practical plans to make their vision a reality.

Jeff has deep experience as a learning and development professional. He is recognized for designing learning experiences, not just as "training," but as a way to solve business problems.

His solutions are often counter-intuitive. He has sparked telemarketers to sell more by learning to listen and helped time-pressed executives invest their time more strategically with "not-to-do" lists. Jeff has developed learning experiences to help people lead, manage, coach, sell, decide, and present, enhancing everything from back-office efficiency to the customer experience.

He is also an accomplished group facilitator. Joe Tria, Global Leader for Talent at Rockwell Automation, values Jeff's ability to quickly create an environment of trust and involvement. "Every person feels like they're leading the event and his or her participation is necessary for the event's success."

Jeff's work has helped Fortune 100 companies and promising start-ups, including Blockbuster, Citibank, Comcast, Eastman Kodak, Gap, General Electric, Informatica, Nike, Rockwell Automation, TJX, Tribune Company, Verizon and The Weather Channel.

Before joining Proteus, Jeff was president of two corporate training organizations, Ridge Associates and Forman/Greene, and was also served as managing director of Experience Engineering, a customer experience consultancy.
