Scott CroninOver almost two decades of working with business executives, my approach to training and coaching has evolved to take into account each person's existing knowledge, skills, and abilities. I've come to understand that real learning builds on what a person already knows. I go beyond presenting and teaching to facilitate the kind of self-reflection that helps people understand how they're contributing to or hindering their own success.In a group setting, I find ways of creating an honest, safe environment that helps participants to be open to their own and others' insights, and to integrate new ways of leading and managing. I also focus on helping attendees see the fit between the course content and their own day-to-day reality, so they have a practical sense of how using the skills will benefit them.
