The Proteus learning experience is distinguished from most training programs by our focus on skill development. Management skills need to be experienced and practiced to be learned. Talking about how to give feedback might give you some new ideas, but seeing a new feedback approach demonstrated, then practicing it yourself, and finally choosing how to use it in your own life – that's how you learn to behave differently.Another difference: Our instructors focus on what you learn vs. what they teach. In other words, the measure of their success is whether you leave the program more capable and more confident – not whether they've "covered the material." These are the same instructors who lead our standard client sessions, and all are experienced executive coaches with Proteus. Their expertise is primarily in individual executive development, which will benefit you during every discussion and practice, and which allows us to offer an optional individualized coaching follow-up to every Proteus Development Center workshop.
