Postponements and Cancellations

Over the years, we’ve learned that clients sometimes find it necessary to postpone or even cancel work they’ve asked us to do for them. In order to maintain a high level of responsiveness to our clients (like you!), to cover our costs and to encourage you to give us as much notice as possible when your plans change, we have the following postponement and cancellation policy.

30-7 Days Notice
When you postpone or cancel a consulting day, coaching, training, or facilitation 7 to 30 days before it’s scheduled to begin, you will be billed 50% of the standard fee for the work that was to be done*. The postponement/cancellation fee will not be charged if we are able to schedule comparable work for the same Proteus staff on the same days. In other words, the sooner you can let us know about a change, the better.

6 or Fewer Days Notice
When you postpone or cancel a scheduled consulting day, coaching, training, or facilitation 6 or fewer days before it’s scheduled to begin, you will be billed 100% of the standard fee for the work that was to be done*.

Travel-Related Expense
It is often necessary to make travel arrangements ahead of time for scheduled work. When work is postponed or cancelled, you will be billed for any related expenses that have been incurred that are not reimbursed by the vendor*.

We believe this policy is fair and reasonable, and hope it seems so to you. Please call 612-926-9627 if you have any questions or concerns about it. Thank you, as always, for doing business with us.

*Any deposit you have made (typically 50% of the standard rate for work that was to be done) will be applied to the cancellation/postponement fee.

Fully Accepted Leader Day

We've declared October 16th Fully Accepted Leader Day, a chance to publicly acknowledge and celebrate the good leaders in your life (but don't let that stop you from doing it every day).

And to discover how "followable" you are as a leader, take the Accepted Leader Assessment.

Leader Readiness

It's your team saying
We're with you – let's go. It's knowing you're worthy of their trust. It's charting a course for the future, and working together to get there.

You can be ready.

We can help.
